WORLD LITERACY DAY

WORLD LITERACY DAY

"EDUCATION IS NOT PREPARATION FOR LIFE, EDUCATION IS LIFE ITSELF "

With no boundaries or limitations, the only thing that can make us diamond from coal is education. There is nothing as powerful as education and we should celebrate the day to revise the goals of dissipating this power. Every year, the world literacy day is celebrated on September 8. This day is celebrated all around the world to spread awareness about the importance of the literacy to individuals, society and communities. Today the literacy rate in India is 75%  but Haryana has the lowest literacy rate. Female literacy rate being 66.7% while the male literacy rate is 74.7%. The analysis shows that majority of the  population who live in villages  are not aware of the importance of education in their life. Therefore a rural visit is being organized by Nalanda international school on 7th September 2019 to provide an opportunity to the students to be exposed to the rural areas. The students of grade 5 had a wonderful visit  at village  called Ghillor kalan located in Rohtak road. The principal of Smiti private school  gave a beautiful welcome. The students of NIS presented a Nukkad natak there. The  topic of the natak was based on awareness of education, health and  hygiene. Let have a big applause for these students.
